What it's about

Hamster Eddie wants to aim high, but it's a long way to get there. The eager rodent scientist lives with a few rats at a junkyard, where his neighbors and his ambitious dreams are not taken seriously.

When he proudly presents his latest invention, an elevator meant to take them all to great heights, they laugh at him. To Eddie's great disappointment, his experiment fails; it just doesn't want to work yet.

The film is part of the children's program at Planetarium Hamburg and tells a story about perseverance and big dreams that feels especially impressive under the dome.
