What it's about

James, a well-traveled, curious penguin from the South Pole, meets the polar bear Vladimir in the icy world of the North Pole. The two become friends and tell each other about their homes.

Together they look at the stars and wonder about the different polar nights at the South and North Poles. The story explains in a kid-friendly way why the sky at the poles looks different from the one at home.

The show is part of Planetarium Hamburg's children's program. Under the big dome, kids experience the starry sky up close, making the show a special cinema experience.
