What it's about

Discover Hamburg's UNESCO World Heritage site: the tour leads through the heart of Speicherstadt, taking in the Kaffeebörse, Kesselhaus, and Kontorhaus Sandtorquaihof, plus an introduction at the Speicherstadtmuseum. The tour takes about 90 minutes.

At the Speicherstadtmuseum itself, kids can lift sacks, sniff coffee samples, and try out loading equipment — and with the character Kalle, de lütte Quartiersmann, there's also a rally through the exhibition. The 1888 building, with its coffee hoists and brick façades, is part of the exhibition itself.
