What it's about
For Library Day 2026, author Jutta Nymphius reads from her children's book “Bin ich hier im falschen Nest?” (Am I in the Wrong Nest?). The story begins with an egg in a robin family's nest. The bird that hatches is a bit bigger and different from the others. The robins call him Kauz and lovingly take him in.
Kauz has many questions: Why is he different, where does he come from and who is he, really? He sets out to find answers. The heartwarming story is about family, belonging and being different.
The reading is suitable for kids aged 4 and up and is free.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
