What it's about
The model show presents a miniature airport at 1:500 scale. Terminal, apron, tower, taxiways and parking positions are recreated in great detail. During the presentation, the display comes to life.
Moving planes, real sounds and thousands of lights simulate takeoffs, landings and the change from day to night. The presentation lasts about 60 minutes, and no registration is needed.
The model show is in Terminal 1 on Level 2 at Hamburg Airport and is especially great for kids who love planes.
