Emil and the Detectives

Emil is supposed to spend the summer holidays with his grandmother in Berlin. But on the train there, the ruthless crook Max Grundeis robs him, and a wild adventure begins.

Together with a gang of clever kids, Emil takes up the chase and dives into a fast-paced detective hunt through the big city. The story, based on the children's book by Erich Kästner, is about courage, teamwork and how much even a kid can achieve when everyone sticks together.

The film is showing at Zeise Kinos. It suits kids who like exciting adventures and detective stories, and offers parents a familiar classic in a new adaptation.
