Pony in a Suitcase

"You never win the grand prize!" says the aunt — but the kids really do win the pony. Now it has to be smuggled home in secret, past hotel porters, train conductors, and the suspicious aunt.

A humorous, adventurous journey begins, in which not just suitcases pile up but problems too — and the kids find the courage to take their own imaginative paths. Along for the ride are Aunt Charlyn, two puppets, and a plump pony.

Flachsland Hamburg Puppet Theater in Barmbek presents puppetry in a wide range of styles, from classic puppet shows to contemporary forms — the small stage keeps the audience right in the middle of the action.
