Here children experience figure theater in its full range — classic puppet and marionette plays, contemporary figure theater with everyday objects, shadow plays, and hybrid formats between theater, performance, and visual art. The small stage keeps the audience close to the action, which makes the effect of the figures especially intense. Many pieces are designed for specific age groups, from toddlers to school-age children, with recommendations listed for each piece.
Figure theater fosters imagination and attentive watching — children often see both the figure and the performer bringing it to life at the same time.
