What it's about
In the Werkkiste's open workshop, children and adults can simply drop in and work on small and medium-sized wood projects using child-friendly tools. No registration is needed.
Children under 16 come with an adult; older children and adults are welcome to come alone. Tools and wood for smaller and medium-sized projects are on site. If you have already started a project, just keep working on it, or start something new on the spot.
The Werkkiste is in a courtyard in the heart of Ottensen, within easy walking distance of Altona station. The atmosphere is calm, creative and deliberately not perfectionist – it's fine if a piece turns out crooked, whether you're holding a saw for the first time or already have practice.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
