What it's about
This lecture of the 21st Kinder-Uni Bergedorf is all about the invisible chemistry at the end of the world. Researchers from HAW Hamburg explain to children aged 8 to 12 how things in nature, technology and everyday life work, and take them along to Antarctica to do it.
The lecture takes place in lecture hall 0.45 and is aimed at children between 8 and 12. Children need a ticket, available through the eventim online shop. Accompanying adults can follow the lecture on a screen in the foyer, so they don't need to secure their own seat in the lecture hall.
Kinder-Uni Bergedorf is a lecture series by the Faculty of Life Sciences at HAW Hamburg and has been running since 2005. It brings science to children in language that even an eight-year-old can understand.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
