The Mindful Tiger

The tiger is considered a dangerous predator, but the mindful tiger finds that description rather unfitting. After all, his paws are full helping his animal friends. He takes the kids into his colorful, mysterious world and shows what a day in a real tiger's life looks like. Along the way, he explains to the little elephant what a Kokomeloranganavokakizitrosine is and shares his very secret tiger trick with the boa tied in knots by stress.

The story humorously tells of calmness, friendship and helpfulness. It's a theater outing for families where kids and parents can both smile. The description doesn't state an exact age recommendation or running time, so it's worth a quick look at the theater's website.

Schmidt Theater is a private Hamburg theater on St. Pauli that also stages family shows. During the day, a visit pairs nicely with a stroll through the neighborhood.
