What it's about
In the Kids' Atelier at Port des Lumières, children paint their own artworks at stations. Through scanning, the pictures travel onto a projection surface over five meters high and become part of an underwater world - the painted fish and figures come to life. There are also interactive walls where touch sets the sea creatures in motion.
The atelier is open daily from 2:00 to 3:30 pm and is included in the regular admission ticket, no registration needed. Children under 13 visit the atelier accompanied by an adult.
Port des Lumières is at Platz am 10. Längengrad in HafenCity and is entirely indoors - a weather-proof outing in the middle of Überseequartier, easy to reach on the U4.
