Port des Lumières with kids

Port des Lumières at Platz am 10. Längengrad in HafenCity is no ordinary exhibition: across more than 1,700 square meters, large-scale projections, music, and movement merge into a walkable 360-degree world of light and sound. The shows run on a loop, and visitors move freely through the rooms — including an immersive tunnel, an Infinity Room, and a selfie station.

The program alternates between several shows: the family show Wunderwelt Ozean, an immersive dive, the Monet show (running since August 29), and from October 3, 2026, "Asterix & Obelix – An Immersive Adventure," a roughly 45-minute journey with the Gauls in search of Miraculix. The Kids' Atelier is open daily from 2:00 to 3:30 pm: children paint their own artworks, which are scanned and projected onto a display surface more than five meters high. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

The venue is entirely indoors and therefore weather-independent, located in the heart of Überseequartier and easily reached via the U4. Recommended from age 5. Show times vary between shows, so it's worth checking the schedule when buying tickets.
