What it's about

Headphones crackling, a cuddly bunny missing an ear, or a squeaky bike? At the Repair Café at Zentralbibliothek, kids and teens aged 6 to 18 repair their broken things together. They learn screwing, gluing, soldering, sewing and much more, and find out how their devices work. No prior knowledge is needed.

They work in small groups, and an adult is always on hand to help. Good candidates include bikes, clothes with holes, stuffed animals, toys with broken parts, speakers, headphones or broken household appliances. Phones, game consoles, laptops and screens are less suitable.

Please sign up by email beforehand and say what you're bringing. You can also come without broken items.
