What it's about
At the Ponyhof Ohlendorf, kids can take guided pony rides every afternoon. The pony is led on a lead rope, so even younger children can ride safely. Booking is possible through the Reitbuch, and dropping in spontaneously works too.
It's a good fit for families with kids who want a first contact with ponies and to try riding at a calm pace. Being close to the animals is the focus and makes the visit a highlight for many children.
The Ponyclub Ohlendorf is located on Alter Postweg in Seevetal-Ohlendorf, a few kilometers south of Hamburg. The non-profit club keeps a herd of ponies and horses in an open stable.
