What it's about
On the open garden days everyone is warmly invited to roam the lovely nature garden. Strolling the paths, you can discover the garden's different habitats, and children and grown-ups alike come close to nature. It is an offer for looking, marveling and pausing, with the garden itself front and center.
For families the garden day is a relaxed destination in the green: children can go exploring, watch plants and small animals, and simply be outside. Weatherproof clothing and a little curiosity about nature are good companions for the visit.
The garden lies in Wilhelmsburger Inselpark, a spacious green space created for the 2013 International Garden Show, which combines well with a longer stay in the park.
