What it's about
Where did the legendary pirate Klaus Störtebeker hide his gold treasure? On this family tour through the Speicherstadt and the Speicherstadtmuseum, children aged 6 to 12 look into this question. Along the way they sniff cocoa beans, and at the end they go on a treasure hunt of their own.
The tour lasts about 90 minutes and leads through the historic storage lofts with original sacks, scales and tools that show how coffee, cocoa and spices were stored in the past. The 1888 building with creaking wooden floors adds to the atmosphere.
The Speicherstadt is just a few minutes from the Baumwall or Messberg U-Bahn stations and combines well with a walk through the HafenCity.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
