What it's about
Where did the legendary pirate Klaus Störtebeker hide his gold? On this family tour through the Speicherstadt and the Speicherstadtmuseum, children aged 6 to 12 get to the bottom of this question, taste cocoa beans and finally go on a treasure hunt of their own.
The roughly 90-minute tour combines a walk through the Speicherstadt with a museum visit, making it especially entertaining for kids who like to join in and discover things.
The Speicherstadtmuseum is housed in a historic warehouse from 1888 with creaking wooden floors, coffee winches and brick facades. U-Bahn stations Baumwall and Messberg are just a few minutes' walk away.
