What it's about
KinderKinder e.V. and the KinderKulturKarawane are joining forces to celebrate a festival of diversity: the occasion is the opening of the 40th edition of the SPOM Festival, Hamburg's international music and theater festival for young audiences, and also the farewell celebration for the three touring caravan groups.
On the FABRIK stage, guests can look forward to an international program: five young women from South Africa's M.U.K.A. Project wow the crowd with Afro fusion dance and drum rhythms, Nuevo Estilo Dance from Colombia blends theater and dance, and the circus-theater group Tawayapu from Bolivia combines circus, music, and dance. KinderKinder e.V. also presents workshop results on children's rights through images, podcasts, and short films, plus an interactive hands-on exhibition.
KinderKinder e.V. has been organizing major theater and children's festivals since 1987, including at Planten un Blomen and Kampnagel.
