The association is best known for its large theater and children's festivals in Planten un Blomen and at Kampnagel. Its series include klangfest (music and theater for young audiences at Kampnagel, with free open-air concerts), the open-air laut und luise, the International Theatre Festival SPOM (marking its 40th edition in 2026, October 30 to November 15, in theaters such as FABRIK, LICHTHOF, monsun.theater, Klabauter and FUNDUS), the film program KINDER (ER)ZÄHLEN! at Metropolis Kino, and the free Lasterkonzerte truck concerts and the Werkstatt der Kinderrechte (children's rights workshop) at rotating locations. Depending on the production, the programs target children from age 2 up through teenagers and families.
