What it's about
At the Kids' Atelier in Port des Lumières, children paint their own artworks at stations. Their pictures are scanned and move onto a projection surface over five meters high, becoming part of an underwater world, where the painted fish and figures come to life. There are also interactive walls where touch sets the sea creatures in motion.
The atelier is open daily from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. and is included in the regular admission ticket; no registration is needed. Children under 13 visit the atelier accompanied by an adult.
Port des Lumières is at Platz am 10. Längengrad in HafenCity and is entirely indoors, a weather-proof destination in the middle of Überseequartier, easily reached by U4.
