What it's about
The model show recreates Hamburg Airport at 1:500 scale, with terminal, apron, tower, taxiways and parking positions. During the show the layout comes to life: planes move, real sounds can be heard and thousands of lights simulate takeoffs, landings and the change from day to night.
The show lasts about 60 minutes. No registration is needed. It is especially good for plane-loving kids and for families who want to see how an airport works.
The model show is in Terminal 1 on level 2 of Hamburg Airport.
