What it's about
The model show at Hamburg Airport presents a miniature airport at 1:500 scale. The terminal, apron, tower, taxiways and parking positions are recreated in great detail.
During the demonstration the model comes to life: moving planes, real sounds and thousands of lights simulate takeoffs, landings and the change from day to night. Kids and adults can see how an airport works.
The show lasts about 60 minutes and no registration is required. It is located in Terminal 1 on Level 2. For plane fans and curious kids it's an exciting outing that pairs well with a visit to the airport.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
