Good to know
The EisArena Hamburg lies in Planten un Blomen park and, at 4,300 square meters, is one of the largest open-air ice rinks in Europe. Until the end of March you can skate outdoors in the fresh air every day, or try your hand at ice curling.
Two food spots wait during breaks from the ice: the Eisbistro with crêpes, fries, mulled wine, and hot chocolate — and the Park Café (accessible only without skates) with tarte flambée and salads.
Kids' birthday parties, school outings, and special events such as live DJs, concerts, and family days round out the program. Skates can be rented on site.
In summer the area becomes the roller rink (see separate listing). Entrance at Holstenwall.
