What it's about
In the middle of Planten un Blomen park, you glide around one of the largest open-air ice rinks in Europe. With 4,300 square meters, there is plenty of room for experienced skaters and for anyone putting on skates for the first time.
You can rent skates on site, and beginners can use skating aids that make getting started on the ice easier. Tickets are available online or at the box office, so you can simply drop by. To warm up, an ice bistro serves crêpes and fries.
Good to know: on Tuesdays outside Hamburg school holidays, the rink closes at 8 pm. The rink is in Planten un Blomen park, and a stroll through the grounds combines nicely with your visit.
