What it's about
The lantern parade starts at 6 pm at the farm shop and passes the pastures of the cows, pigs and other farm animals. It lasts about 30 minutes and ends back at the farm shop. A marching band playing music classics joins in, with the fire brigade as an escort.
After the parade, there is punch for just €3, mulled wine, tasty waffles with toppings, fries and much more. If you would like to make your lantern beforehand, you can do so at the lantern crafting in the craft bus.
The Zum Dorfkrug Landhof in Lower Saxony combines farm life with family activities and is considered especially idyllic for this parade.
