What it's about
Every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm, the Bücherhalle Eimsbüttel asks all children and parents in the children's library to be as quiet as possible. That way everyone can find a little oasis of calm in a busy day.
It's an invitation to relax with books, browse and unwind. For kids who are usually on the go, it can be a nice change, with reading and listening front and center.
There's no fixed program, and each family can come and go as it suits them. The library is in the Hamburg-Haus on Doormannsweg, in a park opposite the Emilienstraße subway station.
