What it's about
Whether in cookie tins, zippers, or shoeboxes: there's music hiding everywhere! Using everyday objects and string instruments, five members of Ensemble Resonanz tell exciting stories. Sometimes they chase away pesky mosquitoes, sometimes a sea monster lurks in the depths — a theatrical concert full of laughs and wonder.
This Funkelkonzert brings classical music to kids in a playful and humorous way, with none of the usual stiff concert-hall feel. It takes place at Kaistudio 6, the Elbphilharmonie's venue for music education and workshops.
HafenCity is easy to reach by U-Bahn, bus, and ferry, and a walk along the Elbe or through the Speicherstadt makes a nice follow-up.
