What it's about
In the Kids' Atelier at Port des Lumières, children paint their own artwork at stations. Each picture is scanned and appears on a projection surface more than five meters high, becoming part of an underwater world – the painted fish and figures come to life. There are also interactive walls where touch sets the sea creatures in motion.
The atelier is open daily from 2:00 to 3:30 pm and is included in the regular admission ticket; no registration is needed. Children under 13 visit the atelier with an adult.
Port des Lumières is at Platz am 10. Längengrad in the HafenCity and is entirely indoors – a weather-proof outing in the middle of the Überseequartier, easy to reach on the U4.
