What it's about
Grandma Liese lives alone and lonely; every day is gray and dull – even at Christmas. But this year, something suddenly flies through the window, and then there's a knock at the door too. A clownish, poetic theater piece based on the picture book “Der Besuch” (“The Visit”) by Antje Damm takes a colorful turn from there.
The piece celebrates Christmas in a quiet, humorous way and shows how wonderful life can become when you have friends around you. A great fit for families looking for a warm, gentle theater experience.
It's performed on the HoheLuftschiff, a theater boat on Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer, where the stage and seating are set up right on board.
