What it's about
A picnic outdoors — what fun! But no sooner has Mücke (the mosquito) arrived than the chaos begins. Luckily there is also Hummel (the bumblebee), though he is off searching for his queen. Will he find her in time? And then there is the shuttlecock too… 'Mücke macht Picknick' is a boisterous play with puppets and music about little troublemakers and a surprising change of perspective.
The brisk, entertaining production works well as an early theater experience and brings a smile to children and parents alike.
It is performed on the HoheLuftschiff, a children's theater aboard a boat on the Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer — a special place where the water laps quietly against the hull during the show.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
