What it's about
Michel is a boy you simply have to meet. He's five years old and strong as an ox. He lives at Katthult, a small farm in the village of Lönneberga, where everyone knows him – the cheeky little rascal who pulls off more pranks than the year has days. But even when Michel isn't planning any mischief at all, the strangest things happen to him, like the time his head gets stuck in the soup bowl.
Hamburg's Puppentheater Flachsland brings Astrid Lindgren's classic to the small stage as puppet theater, keeping the audience close to the action. Children often see the puppet and the puppeteer bringing it to life at the same time.
Barmbek is easy to reach by subway.
