What it's about
The picture book cinema shows "Käpten Knitterbart und seine Bande" (Captain Scruffybeard and His Gang) by Cornelia Funke, from Oettinger Verlag. It tells of the most fearsome pirate on the Seven Seas, whose reign of terror is unexpectedly challenged by brave little Molly.
When Captain Scruffybeard raids the ship Molly is on, he has no idea that this girl will stand up to him and his gang. The story unfolds into a humorous adventure in which courage, wit and an unlikely friendship win out.
The event is for kids aged 3 and up, and admission is free. It takes place at Bücherhalle Schnelsen.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
