What it's about
Traffic Research takes a performative look at Hamburg's street traffic: instead of explaining traffic rules, the team asks how movement, vehicles, and rules could be imagined differently. Research developed at Hamburg elementary schools turns into test routes through city traffic around FUNDUS Theater.
On foot and by train, dancing and playing, loud and quiet, above and below ground, the group tests what happens when theater meets city traffic — an unusual walk for families keen on performative city exploration.
Organized by KinderKinder e.V., which has been developing theater and art formats for children in Hamburg since 1987.
