What it's about
Children can help care for the farm's own sheep: in the barn, fragrant hay is loaded into the wheelbarrow and fresh water is prepared. Then it's off to the pasture together, where the animals are already waiting eagerly for their small and large shepherds.
The activity suits children from about age four and offers a hands-on look at caring for farm animals. Around the farm there are working and show gardens, orchards and learning stations on climate protection and sustainable gardening.
Gut Karlshöhe is located on the edge of Bramfeld, reachable by bus with parking available — ideal for families from Bramfeld, Farmsen, Sasel and the surrounding area.
