Children from about four years old can help out here at the Frühstück für die Schafe (breakfast for the sheep) format, spreading hay, fetching water, and grooming the tame sheep. The flock of chickens is also cared for together with visitors. Around the farm are productive and show gardens, orchards, and learning stations on climate protection, nature conservation, and sustainable gardening. Exhibits and hands-on stations in the main building explore these themes in age-appropriate ways.

The mix of animals, gardens, and educational offerings makes the farm a green learning space where children can explore without a fixed programme. School classes, daycare groups, and families find a broad educational offering, plus holiday programs, birthday parties, and seasonal festivals such as apple days or harvest festivals.

Karlshöhe is located on the edge of Bramfeld, reachable by bus, with parking available. Good for families from Bramfeld, Farmsen, Sasel, and the surrounding area, and easily combined with a walk through the nearby green spaces.
