"The Woman and Her Fisherman" is a play about greed and about enough. Two people sit on buckets in front of a tent: the fisherman and his wife. One of them fishes, and suddenly the flounder bites. The fisherman sets it free and is granted a wish — the tent becomes a little house. But the brief happiness soon gives way to new wishes: "Let me try!" — "No, it's enough." — "Oh come on, far from it!" In the background, a storm gathers.
For families, the play is a vivid, imaginative theater experience that brings the well-known fairy tale to life on stage and, along the way, invites reflection on moderation and contentment. It's performed by the trainees, who fire up the wish-machine of the stage with gusto.
The play is staged at the HoheLuftschiff, the children's theater aboard a boat.
