What it's about
Cast off for a sightseeing tour you can only find in Hamburg: the white Alster steamers glide close to the shore once around the Outer Alster while you enjoy views of popular sights from on board. The trip takes about 50 minutes.
Strollers can usually come on board, children up to six often ride for free, and family tickets are available. When it rains, a covered indoor deck offers shelter.
It starts at the Jungfernstieg pier, and tickets are available online or right at the pier.
