What it's about
The model show features a miniature airport at 1:500 scale. The terminal, apron, tower, taxiways and parking positions are recreated in fine detail. During the show the layout comes to life: planes move, real sounds play and thousands of lights simulate takeoffs, landings and the change from day to night.
For plane fans and curious kids, it's a great chance to watch how an airport works in miniature and see how the different areas fit together. The visit suits the whole family and combines well with a trip to the airport.
The model show is located at Hamburg Airport, making it a fitting destination for anyone interested in aviation.
