What it's about
Imagine a single sheet of paper suddenly coming alive: at first it's still, smooth, and white – but with one small fold and a flourish, it transforms into a hopping frog, a glowing flower, or even a giant whale gliding across the room.
That's exactly the magic of Club Origami, a playful dance performance from the UK and Japan that needs no words at all. A story grows on stage out of these enchanting paper creations, accompanied by live music – the audience experiences the magic of transformation up close.
The show is presented by KinderKinder e.V., which has been running theater and children's festivals in Hamburg since 1987, including at Planten un Blomen and Kampnagel.
