Zartinka with kids

At Zartinka, children and teenagers aged eight to twenty can train regularly in acrobatics, juggling, aerial artistry, and clowning, and perform in shows across Hamburg and on tour. More than 150 kids are active in the project, which has performed at venues including the Thalia Theater, the Botanical Garden Klein Flottbek, and the Lurupina Circus Festival, which Zartinka co-organizes.

The project, run by Z*ART e.V., was founded in 2016 by Tobias Fiedler and combines local work with international experience: tours to Lüneburg, appearances at the European Juggling Convention in the Netherlands, or workshops in Lublin. For young artists, this is a rare opportunity to look beyond Hamburg.
