Wasserski & Wakeboard Hamburg with kids

At the water-ski and wakeboard facility, children from about age eight with safe swimming skills can get on the board. On weekend mornings, the five-mast cable system runs at a slower speed, and beginner courses guide participants through standing up, first turns, and letting go safely. More advanced riders use the obstacle course with kickers and sliders.

Equipment such as wakeboards, water skis, and wetsuits can be rented on site. Companions can watch from the beach area, the Eisvogel restaurant, or the jetty — there's no ticket required for spectators. There's also curling on a 14-meter lane, a sandy beach with lounging areas, dining, and birthday parties and holiday courses.

Season runs spring through autumn; closed in winter. The facility is about a 15-minute drive south of the city center in Harburg, with parking right on site. Arrive early on hot days, and reservations in high season are advisable.
