Tollhafen Kinderaktionshalle with kids

At Tollhafen, children can play, romp, try things out, and pass small tests of courage. There are movement activities, space for free play, and supervision by a fixed team. Low-threshold: children drop by after school and stay as long as they like. For older children there are projects like climbing activities, workshops, and outings; younger children have their own dedicated times.

The hall at Zollhafen is located on Veddel, a small Elbe island in southern Hamburg, surrounded by port and industry. Family-friendly places are scarce there, and Tollhafen deliberately fills that gap. Many families on Veddel use it as a reliable afternoon spot.

The house is run by the Bürgerstiftung Hamburg. Sponsors, patrons, volunteers, and donors support its operation and keep access easy for families.
