Tierpark Krüzen with kids

At Tierpark Krüzen, families see wild species such as red deer, fallow deer, wild boar, lynx, and raccoons, as well as old domestic breeds that are actively preserved. In the petting area, children get close to the animals with a brush and feed in hand. The focus is on encounters and nature experiences rather than shows or rides.

Two to three hours is usually enough for a visit. The park is especially suited to toddlers and preschoolers who want to observe animals at leisure; older children appreciate the calm atmosphere without crowds. The park is family-run and close to nature: enclosures feel authentic, signage is minimal.

Paths are stroller-friendly, and a snack bar serves visitors between March and October. Closed at times in winter, so check opening hours in advance. Parking directly at the entrance, admission prices moderate. Tours and feed packages can be requested on site.
