Good to know
At the farm in the Feldpark, families see goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, and other farm animals in easily viewable enclosures. At the petting enclosures, children get close to the animals, with play areas and shady spots nearby. Access is free of charge.
The farm is a rewarding destination especially for toddlers and preschoolers for an hour or two. Older children often combine the visit with playgrounds, the high ropes course, or the Stadtparksee. Stadtpark Norderstedt spans around a hundred hectares of field, forest, and lake park.
Paths around the farm are paved or gravel and stroller-friendly. Cafés and kiosks in the park provide food, and picnic lawns are right next door. Access via U1 to Richthofenstraße or by bus.
