In the WildeWelt, children can dig, climb, balance on logs, and build small hideouts. Piles of stones, deadwood, shrub zones, willows, mud areas, and small hollows are deliberately arranged close to nature, so as to encourage initiative and a spirit of discovery. Seasonally, fruit-tree meadows and wildflower areas bloom.

The area suits mainly children between three and ten years old, especially on days when clothes are allowed to get dirty. Rubber boots and a change of clothes are a good idea, particularly in spring and autumn. The WildeWelt is not fenced in, so parents with younger children should keep an eye on them.

Access is free and possible at any time. A visit combines well with the farm, playgrounds, high ropes course, or lake beach, and the paths stay short enough for small feet. It's quieter on weekdays than on weekends.
