The Ev.-Luth. Kirchengemeinde St. Georg-Borgfelde is based in two places: the Heilige Dreieinigkeitskirche (St. Georgskirche) on St. Georgs Kirchhof near the main station, and the Erlöserkirche on Jungestraße in Borgfelde. For children aged 2 to 12 there's a children's-service breakfast at 11am on various Sundays, with bell ringing and Bible stories. Through SCHORSCH, the parish's open children's, youth, and family work, two play houses run a parent-child group and an open drop-in — open to everyone, regardless of religion or background. Added to this are choir concerts in the church; on Saturdays from 12 to 2pm, St. Georgskirche is open as a place of quiet, with free admission.
