At Rotenhäuser Damm 80, children build huts with real tools, hammer in nails, cover roofs, and get creative — the seasonal building playground is open from April to October, with a special focus program during the summer holidays. In the afternoons from 3 to 6 pm, regular open operations run with the play house and building playground: games, crafts, and joint activities indoors, building and romping outdoors. In the mornings (11 am to 1 pm) the facility cooperates with schools and fixed groups.

For children aged 6 to 14 (or from age 5 if already in preschool). Part of the neighborhood for over 65 years, for many it's a kind of second home — parents sometimes come back after having played there themselves in the past. New children are explicitly welcome, an important signal in a district with a lot of turnover.
