Spielhaus Dulsberg with kids

At Spielhaus Dulsberg, children and teens aged 5 to 14 drop by without registration, play, and spend time with others. Activities range from free play and crafts to sporting and creative projects. Because this is open work with children and youth, in many situations the children themselves decide what they want to do.

Dulsberg is a densely built district without many large green spaces — which makes a house like this especially valuable. Here children have a protected space in which to find friends and try things out. On-site pedagogical staff organize courses, outings, and group activities and are a point of contact for parents.

The operator is the Bezirksamt Hamburg-Nord. For families from Dulsberg, Barmbek-Nord, or Wandsbek, it's a reliable point of contact for afternoons, holidays, and special activities.
