Good to know
At the Krümel family café, parents can unwind over coffee while children romp and craft in the spacious play area. Throughout the week there are open play times, crawling groups, parent-child courses and themed afternoons for children from birth to about ten years old. On top of that come counseling services for parents — on parenting questions, dealing with authorities, or difficult life situations.
For families from Dulsberg, Barmbek and Wandsbek, the center is a reliable everyday meeting point. Anyone new to the neighborhood or looking to connect finds contacts and space for their own children here. Volunteers and pedagogues work at a low threshold, and many offerings are free or very affordable thanks to funding projects.
